Services We Provide 

The NWKCCRR agency services 18 counties in Northwest Kansas. These counties include Cheyenne, Rawlins, Decatur, Norton, Phillips, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Rooks, Wallace, Logan, Gove, Trego, Ellis, Russell, Ness, and Rush.  We have staff located in two different district offices located on the campus of Colby Community College and at the Hays Area Children's Center in Hays. We are a non-profit organization funded by SRS through KACCRRA. Many of our services include the following:

*Assist Child Care providers with professional development by offering trainings on many different topics concerning early childhood.

*Offer technical assitance to child care providers, parents, and early childhood educators.

*Provide resources to providers, parents, and educators including a lending library, bi-monthly newsletter, trainings, mentoring, website, and community events.

*Collaborate with KDHE and SRS in order providing assistance in licensing needs and concerns.

*Work with Community partners in opportunities to educate families on child development, parenting, and child care needs.

*Engage and educate families to ensure the availability of high-quality, affordable child care.

*Work with providers on programs such as Strenthening Families to help prevent child abuse and neglect by strenthening families through early care and education.

*Support mental health initiatives and activities in all communities.
